Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, Angela is an avid traveler with a keen sense of adventure. After exploring Europe, Africa and the four corners of the South Pacific, as well as two years living in London, Angela now resides in Santa Monica, California where she manages Anahere Inc, the company she established after recognizing that many tourism businesses desperately need help with their international marketing efforts.
Over the last thirteen years Angela has educated hundreds of tourism businesses on the complexities of marketing, Angela says: "marketing is the fundamental reason a business exists, and with the travel landscape constantly changing understanding how to market your business, whether it is internationally or domestically, is crucial to your survival."
Angela has gained a reputation for helping businesses realize their full potential. Amongst many accomplishments she has implemented cash generating strategies, which increased profit margins for a boutique hotel in London by 50%, she took the North American visitor arrivals from 3% to 25% for a luxury lodge in New Zealand, negotiated joint venture marketing campaigns worth many thousands of dollars and launched business development and training programs for Tourism New Zealand that were so successful they continue to run in five of Tourism New Zealand's key markets today.
